Additional information: Description: Here is a restored 420-C crawler. It is the rare to find narrow gauge version of the 420C dozer crawler. Was all gone through including new clutches, rebuilt engine including rings, bearings, gaskets and more and uses no oil at all with perfect pressure. Engine oil still looks brand new. Also had new tach cable, hydraulics hoses. Undercarriage is very good and sprockets are like new. Transmission, final drives and rear end was all taken apart and any bearings needing replaced were. This 420 is still 6 volts and starts immediately. Has factory Hydraulics which are mentioned on the research certificate which is included. We have used the hydraulics recently to run a rear box scraper. Doesn't currently have a PTO on back but it would be easy to add as all the internals are there and the PTO lever to the right of the shifter. You just need to remove the rear plate and install a PTO shaft and coupler. Has a 4 roller chassis and the optional 5-Speed transmission which is quiet. Has a nice paint job as shown. The sheet metal isn't quite 100% perfect - this was the first tractor the farm here restored and a few minor dings showed up in the paint after it was done that were not visible after sanding and prep. It looks very good from close or far away as the pictures show and is fine for any parade or show - it's just not a $4,000 auto paint job. Having said that though the owner had at least a $10,000 parts bills restoring this and when he added his labor up at a minimal rate it was over $15,000.
