Specialized Experience (GS-12 level):
To qualify for the GS-12, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position includes:
Recommends and assists in the formulation and implementation of state policies related to assigned NRCS financial assistance and easement programs. Provides leadership in statewide quality assurance activities related to NRCS programs with emphasis on financial assistance programs. Analyzes problems associated with program delivery and subsequent contracting and recommends solutions. Serve as the principal NRCS contact for operational and contractual questions related to assigned financial assistance and easement programs to ensure that Field Offices receive consistent and timely information on updates to policy or implementation guidelines. Provides training through meetings, workshops, and onsite assistance to ensure effective and consistent delivery of assigned programs. Defines annual objectives for implementation of assigned programs and maintains tracking of program applications and obligations. Note:
