Responsible for the internal auditing function of materials and SAP systems. Assures accuracy of records and adherence to established procedures.
Recommends needed changes, obtains approvals and implements changes accordingly. Reports infractions to appropriate management. Works with limited supervision. Responsible for effective communication, transaction, auditing, correction and problem solving. Responsibilities and decision-making are within prescribed methods and objectives with some latitude for unreviewed action or decisions.
Counts designated items and/or locations.
Audits materials and SAP systems.
Assures accuracy of inventory records, material transactions and adherence to established procedures.
Recommends needed changes to appropriate management.
Reports infractions to appropriate management.
Acts as liaison between sanitation and finance for resolution of material usage/control issues.
Provides follow-up reports on resolution of problems uncovered by audits.
Develops programs for auditing material control procedures with effective internal controls.
Keeps current documentation of Best practices as they relate to area of responsibility.
Aids in SAP upgrades and bar code functionality.
Acts as a team player with other departments to proactively solve problems and improve process.
SAP reconciliation of inventory, material usage, order confirmations, and material inventory transactions.
Primary shift resource for SAP issues and training.
Provides and interprets daily data for sanitation business team.
Provides timely and accurate daily reporting of various sanitation statistics to multiple levels of employees and managers.
Communicate to multiple levels of employees in an effective, professional and positive manner.
Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Years of Related
Experience: In addition to educational qualification, typically at least 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have satisfactory current job performance.
Must have satisfactory job history.
Must be able to work independently.
Prefer a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Prefer knowledge/data entry experience with SAP.
