Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support KNA (Kubota North America) as a local Construction Machinery Power Unit Specialist understanding all systems of the machine Support Manufacturing by troubleshooting problem units and manufacturing issues Act as liaison between Kubota Service, , Quality Control, Mfg Engineering and Design Engineering Focus on product quality and customer satisfaction Willingness to work as a mechanic/technician to resolve field issues Find solutions to minimize or eliminate manufacturing errors Willingness to travel on short notice including overnight stays as necessary Document open issues, actions, responsibilities and progress toward solution Understand team concepts and be a strong team player Organize and maintain a safe working environment Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Preferred Skills and
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of the Construction Machinery Power Unit assembly, its features and performance, and its customer base Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on Construction Machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for machine serviceability and critical repairs and adjustments Ability to read and comprehend hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot hydraulic related problems Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision Detail-oriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret Engineering prints and an understanding of manufacturing Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow.
