Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Tech:
Supervises and monitors youth at all times.
Serves as an adult role model and a source of feedback to the youth.
Provides positive interaction with the youth and demonstrates appropriate de- escalation techniques.
Responsible for keeping Residential Homes safe, clean, and orderly.
Administers prescribed medication, documents, and observes its effects.
Demonstrates professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality with the youth.
Documents significant behaviors and contact with youth.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills/ability to work as a team.
Requirements/
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education (GED) from an accredited high school Valid driver license Must be at least 21 years of age Preferred
Experience:
1-2 years of experience Benefits package includes:
