This position is part of a new program pairing law enforcement with mental health professionals on calls involving citizens in need or requiring mental health services.
The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Co-Responder provides clinical support at the scene and has access to review the individual's mental health and legal history.
As a member of the Crisis Service team, Co-Responders will be housed at the local Police Department and will be required to work a flexible schedule concurrent with the Police Department and Sherriff's Office.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, professional counseling, or related human services field Maintain professional licensure with the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board of Kansas Community Description:
