Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours We are currently looking for an independently licensed Contracted Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work in Salina, Kansas.
The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment with other members of the healthcare team.
Candidates for this position must hold a current Kansas license to practice as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
The right candidate will have experience working with patients to manage a variety of psychiatric disorders, and should also have prior experience working with at-risk youth, veterans, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of psychiatric care management, treatment, and rehabilitation plans for patients.
Aid in the treatment of mental, behavioral, emotional, or substance abuse disorders.
Work with patients and families to improve their health and social functioning.
Provide nutritional counseling to patients who suffer from eating or weight disorders.
See patients who are having problems with substance abuse.
Prescribe drugs to treat psychiatric and emotional disorders.
